I'm surprised that attendance to our Sunday church outings hasn't increased at all recently. As Christmas approaches, I'm always more inspired than ever to worship. And that aside, we've been getting so much upsetting news about the war lately that even the generally non-religious might be inspired to attend. I think that I've attended classes here long enough to conclude that Hogwarts doesn't offer anything more than the schools of France in terms of opertunities or academic challes. However, it is wonderful for keeping students from concentrating on their problems. I wonder, will I ever get a few days to sit down and decide what to do about Gilbert ( Read more... )

Once again, I find myself seriously wondering if I've made the best decision for my education. Certainly, France isn't far enough to avoid this... issue, but I'd certainly prefer to be a far as possible from any violent conflict and, more importantly, as close as possible to my family.
